Wedderburn Hotel
Wedderburn Hotel is the first and last Hotel on the Wedderburn goldfields.
The original hotel was built in 1855 with bush timber and bark. A stone weatherboard and iron combination followed. For many years, the hotel also boasted extensive stables and a stock sale yard. Farmers would stable their horses at the hotel, attend the sale of sheep or cattle and then refresh themselves at the hotel. The existing hotel was built in 1901 and its basic configuration has remained since then.
These days, customers aren’t arriving by horse (!) although we are still serving up meals & refreshments in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Our venue offers a Public Bar, Lounge (Dining Room), Beer Garden(s) & Accommodation (x 5 rooms). Catering & functions are also available.
